It was decided that maintenance project number one is the back porch railing.  On Saturday, March 11 -- weather depending, we will need help digging post holes and laying concrete.

Yes and Will just realized that he was planning to attend the Weed Warriors Invasive Species workshop at
10AM-Noon at Cylburn Arboretum.

Weed Warrior Training Session
>> Saturday, March 11th from 10am until noon
>> Cylburn Arboretum mansion
>> Please call to RSVP or with questions at 410-396-0359

However the weather looks good so I will be at the grove hopefully by 10 to paint the outside doorways which was one of the things the building inspector wanted us to do.  I was also going to dig up the bulbs in the area that the post holes were going to be dug.  I can bring the post hole diggers, the concrete and the post footers.

I don't plan to try to dig the holes myself, I am just getting my back and shoulders working properly again but I might head back to the tree line and tackle some invasive species myself.  Namely honeysuckle, english ivy and poison ivy.

There will also be a Wash/Balt Clergy meeting at the grove from 1 to I think 4 PM  inside so we just need to be considerate while tromping in and out.

Here is more on Baltimore's Weed Warrior activities. I plan to be at the training thing on Sat Mar 11, rather than at the grove doing footers.  Sorry, my bad to have forgotten this.  Also, pl see other activities further down the page.  CLG could no doubt commisin some of our own weed warrior cates if we get a few folks into the training thing sometime.

I can bring gardening tools and help with painting, and plan to be there for the WABA meeting.  I think I could manage getting there around 11-ish, depending on when Gryff gets home from work that morning and the kids.

Do you need temporary storage for the bulbs (I have some spare pots) or were you just planning on moving them to someother yard spot?  Let me know.

I dug some post holes and it wasn't as challenging as I thought.  The soft ground was a big help.

I dug 5 corners, but didn't do as well as I could have had I had the posts to compare/measure.

I said I would come back, but ran out of time before Steph's audition.  I apologize.

When will we work on concrete?
