CedarLight Hussah's 2006
« on: February 18, 2006, 05:35:59 PM »
:idea2:  We sometimes forget and overlook all those folks who are working in the background or the foreground in our community.  So I'd like to start a thread specifically to recognize some of these folks and the things they do all around us.  Anyone can post to this and I encourage everyone to pay attention to who's doing what and give them a little pat on the back.  Gods knows none of us are getting paid for this.  A few words of thanks go a very long way!

To start with:
Hussah to Holly for providing ten tons of cloth to make white tabbards for our ritual teams and corrosponding colors for all highrites.  She's probably going to be in debt well over $200 and 200 hours by the time we're done.

Hussah to Jack & Rhi for all the work they have put into the library.  Hussah to all those who have donated books and helped put books away.

Hussah to Rick & Rhi for donating a small refridgerator for sodas or water that now lives under the table in the main room.

Hussah to all who stayed and helped clean up after the last High Rite (Renee & Kat).

Hussah to all who helped unload the HUGE pile of wood out of the truck and into the backyard on Sunday.  Now just need to find a way to split it.
Hussah!

Hussah to Will (who almost never reads the forum) on building a new grape arbor on Sunday.  I'm sure he's appreciate some positive comments.

Huzzah to Caryn and Will for a lot of the grunt work on the back railing yesterday.  Jack and I were also little helpers, but Caryn and Will did the most.

Huzzah to Deirdre for preparing us workers lunch and dinner, very delicious!

I'm adding a Hussah to Kessa!   She drove all the way up from Glen Burnie to Towson to bring diapers to Kelly and food for me at GBMC!  Three cheers, and gods it was good to see you!

Hussah to Jack for sweating in the heat for over 3 hours to mow the grass at CLG.  He would have kept going but it started to rain.  Electric mowers do not like the rain.

HUSSAH!

And of course, how about some huzzahs for Caryn, risking her life from dirty, rat infested, yucky, slimy mess in her pursuit of lead-free panels on the archway.  The virtues of courage and perseverance were definitely embodied in her bold work.  (But perhaps not wisdom).  But great job, Caryn. Huzzah.

Huzzahs to you Crystal for the excellent job on our Grove newsletter. It truly was professionally done. I particularly liked the article on Brina.  I could tell you did a lot of research.  Your hardwork is appreciated!

HUZZAH to Matt for doing WWTOO today it was awesome! Thanks for letting me badger you into it hehe.  And a big thanks to Caryn for passing out copies of the format so Matt didn't have any excuses when I produced my copy for him.

It was light, funny and full of Loki & coyote but thats all good. Apparently they took us seriously when we asked then to stay hehe.

Again thanks for letting be apart of something so alive, fresh and plain fun.
