    I don't know if the Baltimore region got socked with thunderstorms last Sunday, but our farm got hit by a pretty severe one. It took out a tulip poplar tree in the paddock right before breakfast. The lightning bolt completely exploded the tree and there were splinters, rather BIG splinters, scattered all over our field. (Yes, the horses were out in the paddock at the time and were not happy by the incident! They would rather Thor go play somewhere else! )

    Anyway, if anyone in the grove wants some soft wood that's been lightning blessed for magical work, like staffs, wands, rune-stones etc. just come up and help yourself.
