What can you do to help CLG?

If you're looking for volunteer membership hours or just don't know what to do to help out while visiting CedarLight Grove, here is a list of things that need to be done.  Don't hesitate to just pick one and go, no need to ask for permission :)

Kitchen:
Dishes
Scrubbing the Stovetop
Sweeping and mopping floors
Restock sodas in the fridge
Wipe down the cabinets and make sure they are organized
Take out the trash and recycling
Cooking breakfast for Rites fo Caffiena
Check inventory on essentials like cooking oils, blocks of cheese, eggs, polish sausage, sugar, coffee, etc.

Main Rooms:
Dusting (especially altars)
Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
Candles lit and/or blown out at various altars
Put away food
Coffee Pots emptied
Take dirty towels and laundry home to wash and return to the Grove
Water plants

Bathroom:
Clean the sink and shower
Scrub the toilet
Clean out the trash
Check inventory on soap, medical supplies, and toilet paper

Outside:
Make sure no trash is outside
Weed and mulch flowerbeds
Clean out ashtrays
Make sure trash/recycle is taken down on appropriate days and that it is all in bags (no loose trash is allowed in the trash cans)
Fill bird feeders
Make sure everything is put away (grill, candles, etc)
Mow lawns

Items needing donated regularly:
Toliet Paper
Soap (dish and hand)
Tealights
7 day candles
Sodas and water
Cheese Blocks
Sugar
Half and Half
Firewood
Coffee
Polish Sausage

(always check the grocery list posted on the washboard near the kitchen and also pinned on the forum)

Other items to donate, check inventory for necessity:
Mulch
Towels
Candles
Birdfeed
Incense

I am going to be at the grove today (Saturday) with John to work on the library starting at 1 PM.  Just wanted to let people know.

Michael and I will be bringing up a bag of coffee (Peets House Blend) with us when we come for Ostara. :)
