Imbolc!
« on: February 04, 2006, 11:46:24 AM »
The weather says it may clear to periodic showers later this afternoon.  We have a couple of choices

a) Bring your rubber boots and rain ponchos and & we have it in the sanctuary

B) We get there early and put up the 10 x 20 next to the pavilion and we perform the rite under the two.  Of course one side will be squisher than the other.

c) We get there early and move some of the furniture and the food tables out under the pavilion and perform the rite inside.  Then haul the furniture back in but probably leave all the food out side.
Remeber that offerings must be modified when performing inside.

And you know, all this really depends on how many people show up and we won't know that until about 30 min before the rite.

Thoughts

We don't have much time

I guess I'd be for putting the Pavillion up and trying it outside in the ickyness.
But I can do it either way. What time are you going to get there, Caryn?
What time do you need help setting up?

I am aiming for 2 because I wanted to smudge really well before anyone arroved.  The negative energy has really been building up at CLG of late (as evidenced by everyone talking louder, tempers flaring more, people seem more on edge, and folks who are more empathic/sensitive have increasingly had to leave the grove space because the energies in there were just overwhelming.

Oh I agree with the energy. I've not only felt it, I have it.
I still say the best way of clearing energy, better than even smudging,
is talking. But not everyone agrees with me. Sigh.  So please smudge me
when you get a chance. Double smudge me in fact.
