I second that. Caryn, we would truly be in dire straits without you. Thank you for everything you do at the Grove.

Many thanks to Rob and Danielle who helped me stack wood on Sunday.
Many thanks also to Taryn, Tivis, Aurora, and Mia for working on the gardens out front on Sunday, including the purchase of gardening supplies by Mia I believe.
More thanks to Debbie who improved the Manannan altar in the sanctuary. She donated both the supplies and the hard work.
Thanks to Caryn for doing the yearly apartment inspection for Apt. D.
Thanks to Betony for volunteering to serve as an alternate voting member of the witan if a member has to recuse herself. We are still working on this policy, so we are not ready, but her willingness to serve is admirable.
Thanks to everyone who cleaned up the grove spaces. I saw Phoenix Rose, but I know there were others.
If you did something and I forgot you, I apologize and thank you as well. I can't be everywhere at all times :) It is everyone's efforts that keeps the grove running.
-
Also, thanks to those who did the small impromptu tree ritual over our fallen nature spirits. I saw Ash, Taryn, and Debbie. There may have been others.
-
Ashley helped with the gardens also.

Thanks Ash. I told you I wouldn't see everything.

Hussah to Wayne today for a <<<freakin awesome workshop>> on Primary Sources for Reconstructing Ancient Pagan Religion. We had lots of great discussion. Damn this would be a great class for Trillium!
Hussah!
-
When aren't his workshops good? ;D Sorry I missed it.
-
Thanks to Caryn for her substantial work on Apt. B and Apt. D, and thanks to Tivis for spreading mulch and beginning the process of resetting our stone paths!
Rockin....
-
Huzzah huzzah!
Mulching is an important duty, Tivis...
-
Thanks to Frank (Loki) for coming and helping. I could not have done that alone...and would not have wanted too.
-
Resetting the stone paths? Yes!!! ;D
-
Huzzah to all who helped with the firepit today! It was an epuc adventure that I hope Taryn shall regale us with at Beltaine.
Huzzah to Bryan for the workshop today. It was both fun and very informative.

It all looked fantastic and the basement not as scary to me.

Thank you, Wayne. I feel honored by your words.

Huzzah to Kelly for bringing the stones to border Yorth's altar and to those who helped move them.
Huzzah for Aurora buying us pizza on her card and for all those who chipped in for it.
Huzzah to Caryn for the amazing emptying of the basement and getting house treated.
Huzzah to the Sidhe for giving special energy to the trees in the sanctuary that need it.
Huzzah to Loki for all he did to help Caryn.
-
Hussah to Tracy who moved most of a mountain of mulch today.
Hussah to Ashley and Taryn and Tracy for playing with concrete and stones to complete the hearthfire ring
And I brought up the extension ladder, bought the 1st canopy, chainsawed the offending branch off the dead willow so that it can be used as a maypole, rescued and moved a couple of small trees to start the row of trees to drink more water during the wet season, moved mulch, put up the sun shades, and other minor stuff.
Girl power rocks!
-
That's awesome! Huzzah!

Awesome! Thank you so much all. This grove could not run without all the work the members put in.
-
Huzzah to Ashley for cooking at the firepit for hours. It was delic!
Huzzah to Kelly for making the fun of the tradition of the Maypole a reality.
Huzzah to Kelly again for tending fire with her bad back.
Huzzah to everyone who brought food for both the picnic and revels.
Huzzah for the facepainting artistry I saw.
Huzzah for the flowers planted AND mulched by Aurora immediately following the rite.
Huzzah to Caryn for the ancient song of Hal en Tow and for throwing cornmeal and oats at me. ;-)
Huzzah to evryone I didnt mention because my brain cant remember names, like the lass who held the ladder for Kelly in the downpour, and the new girl I briefly met who was washing dishes.
The fire breathing was AWESOME.
The guitar and drums that accompanied much of the day were perfect.
Huzzah to everyone who helped, participated or offered to make this right a most happy one.
HUZZAH!
-
Huzzah to EVERYONE that helped with the firepit venture! I hope you feel it was as worth it as I do. :)
Huzzah to everyone that attended; even the new folks offered to help out and lend a hand any way they could. It was refreshing and really helped add energy to the ritual.
Huzzah to the ritual team, cause dayum.
Huzzah to everyone that cleaned up last night; I saw Tracy in the kitchen for what must have been 600 years.
AND Huzzah to everyone who showed up today to clean up!
-
And I was picking up in sanctuary and heard her gentle voice shout, "Stay off my clean floor!"
Lol
-
Hussah to Betony, Linden, Debbie and Garren for their advancement to Reiki II Practitioner today! Yay! More Reiki!
-
Hussah!
-
Thank you, Caryn, for teaching it. This morning my graddaughter was telling me her leg was hurting, so I did little Reiki over the spot that hurt. Within under a minute she was giggling and asked what I was doing because it tickled. I love it. ;D

Huzzah to Wayne for a great COoR workshop today.

Hussah to Debbie and me :P Debbie put in 5 hours in the rain and the mud weeding gardens at the grove. I pulled (and cursed) english ivy from behind Aphrodite. We both got soaked and covered in mud. We also cleaned up/out the ritual room and the fountain. (Note: probably wise not to put incense 'over' the fountain/well. Puts yucky stuff in the water. Better to put it off to the side. )
I was there at 8am because the gutter folks said that's when they would be there. I called them at 10 and was told they couldn't work in the rain. They showed up about 3 just when it started to rain harder and cleaned the gutters in the rain....wtf???? And I thought pagan standard time was bad...
It's all good though cause we got some good work done. Hussah!
-
It was alot of fun!
-
Thanks :)
-
It isn't summer till you're soaked with rain and don't give a crap that you are. :D

That sums up yesterday nicely.

Debbie and Caryn,
Thank you so much for your work. These kinds of things really make a difference.
-
Hussah to all those of the barely awake who braved Sat morning in Baltimore to stand on a street corner to protest a mega Royal Farms from taking up an entire city block just 2 houses away from our sanctuary.
Hussah to Rob, Ashley, Taryn, Will and Caryn!
-
Hussah to everyone who helped clean up the flood and get the Grove ready for the HR!

Hussah to everyone who helped clean up the flood and get the Grove ready for the HR!
Indeed, many thanks go out on the water front. The work of everyone who pitched in is so much appreciated. We could not do what we do as a church without everyone's help.
-
A hug HUZZAH going out to all who helped me today with splitting wood and cutting up wood for Lughnasadhe:
Wayne, Caryn, Shelly and his whole family, Kelly, Rob and Amy. I have a bad arm and your help was MUCHO appreciated. It was also more fun as a group. They carried on after I was told to go get some refreshment.
You all are awesome!
-
Absolutely because Wayne is not the only one who is trying to clean out the clutter. I am trying to get the wood out of that back corner so that ...maybe.. after the fall die-back, we can pull all the ivy (all kinds) out of there and make it accessible to at least a weed whacker once in a while. Once upon a time, we could just run the lawn mower back there.
HUSSAH!!!!
-
HUSSAH also to Aurora and Debbie who stayed after everyone else had left to weed and mulch the front gardens!
HUSSAH!
-
I would like to thank everyone who did such a good job cleaning two weeks ago, and then split and stacked wood last week. Your work is much appreciated, and it shows in how the grove looks and feels. I would also like to thank those who stepped up and helped close the grove, doing the vacuuming and random dishes.
-
Hussah to Wayne for moving a large part of the old wood behind the gardens at back of sanctuary over by the pavilion, Hussah to all those who helped move the extra brush into the back of my truck. It always amazes me how much we can get done when we work together. Hussah!
-
It definitely looks much better when one is looking at the back of the sanctuary not to see a wood pile or blue tarp anymore. Wayne and others did a lot of work to take care of that.
Huzzah to Caryn for mowing most of the lawn before I got there. >:( But she left me some. It turned out to be a beautiful evening and the yard looks much nicer.
Huzzah to Caryn for putting up more blinds. Truly needed and adds to the appeal of the room. I love the one in the kitchen. Truly cuts down on the heat in there and it looks good too.
Huzzah also to Caryn for putting up the hanging lanterns in Dun Elphame. Beautiful.

Thank you Caryn and Debbie for the work you did this weekend. It is much appreciated.

I would also like to thank Rob for doing most of the heavy lifting in getting an ad posted on the local listserv for Lughnasa. It is a good thing that we become more prominent in our local community.
-
Hussah to Shelly and family who helped me move the rain barrel and jerry rig a new drainage pipe to carry the water away from that back corner.
HUSSAH!
