Greetings all!
We are having a CedarLight Grove Yule Auction fundraiser to help raise funds for maintenance costs around CedarLight. All are encouraged to bring quality gently-used or new items they'd like to see auctioned off to the highest bidder after our Yule High Rite on December 17th.
If you can bring a cost estimate/receipt, you can also get a tax deduction for your donated item :)
Some items already available that will be auctioned:
- Custom artwork
- Soft beige coak/poncho
- Brand new bottle of North Carolina mead
- Brass Thors Hammer pendant
- Pentacle incense/keepsake box made of wood with brass accents
- Imported Scottish hand-made cloak pin
- Various bottles of brewage
- Green velvet cloak
- Brown velvet cloak
- A decorative battle axe
- Silver dagger
- Leather bag with ravens sigil
- Antler handle pocket-knife
- Green wool cloak from half-moon
I will update this list as more items are brought in.
Don't forget to bring some extra cash or your checkbook to participate in this auction to support YOUR local pagan church :) Non-members will be required to pay at the time of auction. Members are given a month lee-way to pay for auction items.

When do you need items?

Anytime between now and Yule would be awesome :)

BTW the pentacle box is for incense, I just have other containers that I keep my incense in. It's for the standard size incense sticks.
Also, inside the box is a hand carved stone with runes carved into it made by Frank/Loki for auction.

I just went thru some things and found some more for the auction that can be added to the list. I will bring them Sunday.
I have two stretch velvet lightweight hooded cloaks, one in a rich brown and another in deep green with red and gold trim. The green one is perfect for Yule, indoors anyway. The brown one is about 50-54 inches long from the neck and the green one is about 60 inches long from the neck, but can easily be altered.
Also, I have a beautiful framed photo art of a timber wolf in the wild. Its about 18x24 inches, maybe bigger. It is by a famous photographer of wildlife but I can't recall his name right now.

I have some stuffs too!!!!!!!

I will be donating one of these for the auction. The one I have is green and brown.
http://www.hmoon.com/jouster.html (http://www.hmoon.com/jouster.html) It is incredibly warm. It is used so maybe start the bidding at $60? $80? What do you guys think?

That is beautiful!

Caryn, I think both your cloak and the bag that Dave donated need to be started at relatively high prices.... They are sure to get bids and will be the "big ticket" items

Here are some crappy cellphone pictures of just some of the items that will be available for this years Yule fundraising auction! Don't forget your checkbook or some cash so you can get some goods for supporting CedarLight Grove, ADF :)

Looks good. I can't promise I'll be a high-roller like I was at Lughnassadh, but I'm looking forward to the post-Rite auction just the same.

It will be good to see you again. I haven't seen you for awhile.
