Title: Auction for Mabon, Support CLG!
Post by: Crystal on August 12, 2010, 08:20:40 AM
Hear ye Hear ye!

We will be holding a goods auction during our Mabon High Rite to support CedarLight Grove!  Start cleaning out your closets now, bring gently used (or new) items that may fetch a price! (No junk please, these items will be asked to be taken back as we cannot afford to dispose of them).

Do your part and donate an item, or bid on an item and get them at AMAZINGLY LOW cost to support your local Druids!

I will be keeping a list of items posted on our site.

So join us as we praise the Gods, feast in Their honor, and bring our community together to support keeping CedarLight Grove functioning :)

I just finished this one on Saturday.  The pendant is partly from a silver and moonstone bracelet that I took apart to use.  I thought of the ocean again as I made this one.  The only parts that are real silver are where the moonstones are inlaid.

Sho, I made the first of a couple designs for the "Cedarlight Grove: We're a Little Different" tshirt idea. My printer is crap when it lacks ink, but I wanted to show you guys what I made. If there's interest, I'll make them into tshirts or sweatshirts for the Mabon auction. Let me know if you're into the idea and I'll order some!

It goes on black and white (the file is actually a gif, so it's not rectangular).

This is what happens when I get inspiration late at night for no good reason.

Here is my 1st contribution.  It is a burgundy, polar fleece, winter robe.  It would come close to the floor on me but probably mid calf on someone Will's size.  It can be easily shortened.  It can be easily modified to take a belt.  Unlike previous versions, this one has a hood.

Now we shall see if the pics are too large to post.

2nd winter robe is finished.  It's black and is about the same as the one above except no hood (not enough material) and has a sewn on scarf.

ANNA are you listening, you have been wanting me to make one of these!!!!

I'm not even going to try for a pic of this, it's too dark to see any detail.
