Wetland Planting at Masonville Cove
We need your help planting native wetland grasses along the shores of Masonville Cove! Your volunteer effort will not only help to restore Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, but will also support a community enhancement project that includes an environmental education center, hiking trails and a bird sanctuary.

Invasive Plant Removal at Greenbelt Park.  Help remove invasive plants from the park each first Saturday of the month.  Overview:  Help remove invasive plants from the park each first Saturday of the month. This partnership with the University of Maryland involves identifying and removing different invasive plants in the park. This hands-on volunteer project is going strong thanks to Volunteer Leader Tom Crone. Thanks to the efforts of volunteers and the University of Maryland students, Greenbelt Park is preserving the park for future generations. It is not a difficult or dangerous task. Clean Up the Bay Day at Pocahontas SP
Join Pocahontas State Park staff and volunteers in helping keep Swift Creek Lake, and the area watershed clean. We will be collecting trash from Swift Creek Lake, as well as the surrounding shoreline and woods. You are welcome to bring your own canoe or kayak or use one of the park's. If you prefer to stay on land, volunteers may pick up trash on nearby shoreline and trails surrounding the lake.

Oxon Cove Sunday Shoreline Sweep-up.  Every first Sunday of the month, join Ranger Steph and your fellow park-lovers to help clean up the trash that finds its way onto the banks of Oxon Cove. Overview:   Every first Sunday of the month, join Ranger Steph and your fellow park-lovers to help clean up the trash that finds its way onto the banks of Oxon Cove.  Spend your afternoon in the fresh air, getting some exercise and making a visible difference.  Earn service hours needed for your organization.  Wear old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting wet and muddy.  Work gloves provided.  Come alone or bring a group.  Meet in the parking lot.  This event is canceled if weather is inclement.  Location:  Oxon Cove Park & Oxon Hill Farm, 6411 Oxon Hill Rd. Cleanup of Lynch Cove Run South with Clean Bread And Cheese Creek.  Volunteers all ages and ability needed! We can certainly use your help! Please mark your calendars for our cleanup of the southern section of Lynch cove Run. Registration will be across the street from Grange Elementary School at Lynch Cove Park 7833 Scholar Road, Dundalk off of Church Road., MD 21222 (Look for our tents and signs). This event will be run in conjunction with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Annual Project Clean Stream and American.

Native Planting Day.  Saturday Service Day. Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Dig in and further improve habitat for wildlife. We will plant native plants in various spots throughout the Center. Help clean up the stream along the parking lot of Merritt Park Baptist Church which flows into Bear Creek. Bring the whole family to help! A photographer/videographer is also needed to help document the cleanup. Trash bags, gloves, snacks, water, and lunch will be provided.
