I know.  I just don't want to duplicate what's being done on Sundays and I want to be sure that things that will involve larger numbers of people(rituals, large projects, etc..) are being exposed to the widest possible audience.  That's all.

Will ordered the Descent of Inanna Saturday night and I have high hopes that it will be here for the next discussion group.  Yes the group has been small but Holly you will never be able to anything that will fit into everyone's schedule.  Its just life.

March's Discussion group meetings will be Fridays the 10th and 24th at 7pm.

I've been comming up with sort of loose topics for the discussion group meetings so far....my thoughts for march had been some discussion about hearth cultures and/or mythology.

I haven't run outof ideas yet, but I know that there are some others out there, and I'm open for any suggestions.  I know that there was a suggestion to watch a movie about the descent of Innanna, and that Jesse would like to talk about possible grants.

My only concern with either of these is that the Friday group has been smaller than that of the Sunday caffina, and since the movie relates to the ritual it wouldn't reach everyone involved in the ritual planning, and anything that we would need/want grant money for would be a project involving many people that we not exclude those who can not make it.

That being said if someone has the film, and there's interest, I'm all for it.  Ditto for the grants- Jesse, et. al. if you all want to bring info on different grants that are available we can talk about it and get more defined ideas for y'all to discuss on Sunday and present to the Witan.  I'm more than happy to help in any way possible, and I'll try to dig up some info myself. I'd really love to see us get more involved in the community and spiff up the sanctuary (especially if it doesn't have to come from the grove coffers).  In fact, if we want to schedule a meeting sometime/somewhere else to gather specifically to discuss grants I'll set it up as much as possible.  Perhaps at an Enoch Pratt branch where we can look things up?
