I am so sorry about the news of Church of the Ancient Ways.  I will keep Lady Katerina
and the entire fellowship in my thoughts, prayers, and magical working.  I'm sure
the Goddess will find a way and a direction for them.

Thanks JoDee   Mswizzzards@yahoo.com or mswizzzard@aol.com. Things are changing at the Church on the Ancient Ways they have lost the lease so I'm guessing you guys will have a small influx of new members.

The next discussion group gathering will be Jan 27th.  Since it is so close to Imbolc, we will be making Brigit's crosses and rattles.  As for the "discussion" part....how about the myths/folklore/symbolism of milk and honey?

I would venture a guess that it will be the second and fourth Fridays of the month.  We have not decided any concrete dates other then the 13th.  The dates are open for scheduling..We can discuss it at the first get together.

Oooooh!  Stitch and Bitch!  An excuse to haul out crafting stuff . . .huzzah!
I'll just have to find a sitter.  Sounds like too much fun to miss.

Can't bring the black cats on the 13th (I have three of them!) but with a bit of good luck, I hope to be there, maybe with hubby in tow.

Steph and I are stoked.

About twice a month or on specific Fridays?

Have you thought about a membership in Netflix for the Grove?  www.netflix.com  $9.99 + tax per month for one movie.  They mail it to you, you watch it, you mail it back, and they send another.  You set up movies in a Queue.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye.... :order:  :order:  :order:

On January 13 (Friday the 13th) we are going to start a twice monthly Discussion and Social time at the Grove.  These nights will include, but will not be limited to: Discussions (various topics), movie nights, stitch and bitch's, pizza and music, etc..etc..... :bouncy:

The discussion topics will be announced in advance...Holly, Alison or I will probably moderate...but others can and will (We Hope)...just bring your knowledge of the topic and we can have some fun....(don't bring reams of info, just a few tidbits, so everyone has a chance to contribute).... :showoff:

The movies will either be DVD, or if there is something really good on TV we can attach the cable (from my house) or come over here and watch.... :naughty:

As for the Stitch and Bitch..we have some fabric (courtesy of Holly) and we can get more and make Grove Taberts...

This is going to be a purely social time....anyone can attend...you need not be a Grove member...just interested in learning, playing, and having fun, we can even have a game night (Ono, Monopoly, Scrabble, etc., or a Poker night...(no real money)....

Since the first night will be Friday the 13th, we thought it would be interesting to discuss the origin of the "bad luck" myth...Bring some info, stories, and your imagination...We can chip in for food (if we get hungry) or if someone wants to cook, go to it... :flirt:
