I cannot add any worthies to the list you have. There are many at CLG who diserve such honors, but few who want them. I can only "third" the above list and especially Will as Grove Patriarch Plenepotentairy (gee, I hope I spelled that right).  In other words, Patriarch and Potentate. :)

For future reference: does the grove have a bard? If so, who?  I recall some mention of one in the past, but I can't recall who it was. Also, I think Joe Z should be the Official Grove Musician, for all the neat songs he came up with and the great guitar playing that was a highlight of my attendence at the Rites of Caffiena...That and Will's cooking and coffee making :)

Y'all are doing a fine job up there. I hope to come visit in the spring, if all goes well...

John

Ah, I had a feeling that would be the case. Can't knock a guy for trying.
Well, I nominate him for Patriarch then......Father Pierson.

Bless me Father for I have sinned...

Just for an update on nominations, Will has declined the Senior Druid Nomination.

We have received no further nominations via email or on the forum.  This is the last week for nominations.

I would be more then willing to remove my name from the ballot if Will would run.  I have always felt he should be SD again...

I second those nominations...most particularly Caryn and Crystal...they have done an magnificent  job and I would not function without them.   :frustrated:

Thank you Crystal for nominating me...I would very much like to be SD again.  Thank you for your vote of confidence...to both you and Caryn

For all current paid members of CedarLight Grove, our Witan nominations for 2006 are now open.  If you would like to nominate someone for a position, you may do so on this post, at the Grove with a Witan Office, or through email at: clg@cedarlightgrove.org.

I would like to nominate the following:

Deirdre Abbot for Senior Druid

Caryn MacLuan for Pursewarden and Membership Coordinator

Jack Green for Members Advocate

And I don't know if I can nominate myself or not, but in case I can, I'd like to nominate myself for Scribe.

These are the only positions open for nomination.  Positions such as electrician, webscribe, etc are appointed positions by the Executive Witan.

Also keep in mind that after Octobers Witan Meeting, I posted the proposal by the Witan that positions now carry for 2 years, with an option for a 3rd year of term, instead of yearly.  We have not received feedback from our membership on the forum, I am unsure if we've received feedback at the grove or not.

Nominations by members only must be received by December 10th.  Elections will take place at the December Witan Meeting on December 18th.

If you are unsure if you are listed as a member of CedarLight Grove, please let Caryn know.
