Any work days at the Grove planned for Thanksgiving break?
By the way, Isis' Pagan Meet up is this Friday. Perhaps we can work
at the Grove and then go to the Meet up. Just a thought.

Happy Turkey Weekend everyone.

I stuck them in and around the yard at CLC.  But now I'm curious, why the yay about cyprus trees?

Also, they smell nice.

Cypress trees are sacred to Apollo. :-) (The tree tattooed on my back is a cypress tree)

Oh I image we'll be getting there sometime before noon but whenever.

I found some plants at Home Depot all marked down to $2.50 so I had to rescue some of them.  Picked up a few small Leeland Cyprus, another evergreen and 4 pots of varigated lireope which also stays green most of the year (if the rabbits don't eat it all)

Cypress trees? yay!

Will these be at the grove or elsewhere?

Sorry I didn't make it - a stomach virus has invaded my home.   :P

Better luck next time.  Thanksgiving weekend, maybe?

I finished priming the front room in Apt C and 1 wall of the entrance way.  That wall was soo dark there was no just priming around the new door.  I have some pure white eggshell that I was going to paint the entrance way cause its soo dark going up the stairs

Today I plan to try to get the ceiling painted in Apt C and then we can paint the walls.  I have a light green satin for that.    The steam pipe is alsp going to need to be painted as will the back of the door.  And the windows really need to be washed.

Once these things are done, there are a number of things we could do with stenciles of ivy or oak leaves or something.

Will and I picked up a nice (expensive) run off freecycle the other day but it will only cover part of the floor.

The rug in the grove space really needs to cleaned with a shampooer (is that a word?).

 :o :o :o never a dull moment around CLG  ::) :P :-*

Yes, when?     :)

Unfortunately, that's going to affect when I can get there - Gryff has to go to work tonight and won't be home until later Saturday.  He'll need to adjust to getting home before I can go anywhere.

But I'd love to help plant things and garden a bit.  I can even bring extra tools and gloves along for the fun . . .

C and I had a busy, though cold day at the CLG homested on Fri, and will be at it again on Sat.   Caryn has some plants for in around the new stone (oh yes it is true, can yo belive it....nnnooo).  I'll be working with John to hang the new storm door and finish the triim etc.  There is also baseboard window trim and floor work reaming in the re-fixed room.  So if anybody wants to come along and watch orrrr whatever......  love to have you lend a hand.

(((hugs))) will

Will,

I can't slave tomorrow but a week from tomorrow I can, or the Friday of Thanksgiving break I can. So let me know if you still need a tough rugged worker like yours truly.  I'll do my best.
