If you guys ever need a webpage (we could even have it be on the CLG site) for next time, let me know.  (I didn't see one this time around)

I want to thank everyone from Cedarlite that attended my Sacred Herd event this weekend. Caryn you saved my a** for the ritual! I was so overwhelmed and intimidated by running a ritual to Epona. Having you next to me, whispering which section came next did a lot to reassure me and help me through it. And I think the ritual turned out fantastic! We sure generated some powerful, positive, mojo for the farm! Thanks! Will, I kept getting compliments on the eggs Sunday morning. I thought they were Drey's but they turned out to be your concoction! Also, Thank you, thank you, thank you for fixing the power box on the electric fence. I KNEW it was something simple! And yes, Drey returned the new box we couldn't afford the very next day which meant more $$$ saved. Always a good thing! Francesca thanks so much for attending! I really missed your wise presence in the Grove. We need to do that again, and soon! Jack, I'm sorry we didn't manage to do a sheath cleaning on a stud to totally shock and embaress you but we had fun other ways! And why are there suddenly all these toads everywhere on my property??? Hmmm! Renee thank you for coming and bringing the pineapple! I want you to bring your things you do fire dancing with next time! Is that neat or what??

I had personally requested the lovely weather from Epona weeks before, but the beautiful full moon rising in a clear nite sky over a wheat field of dancers and drummers was a memory I will treasure for many years to come.

The only down side of the event is that I guess I will have to charge more for attendance so that next time we don't end up taking a bath financially for the port'o johns! O well, live and learn! I think we generated enough interest that people can happily handle that.

For all those that didn't attend for one reason or another, Man did you miss one Helluva PARTY! We had a blast!

Please let me know if you enjoy the C/D I included as complimentary gifts for all attendees. I've been toying with the idea of compiling a small book of my spiritual equestrian writings. An even more attractive idea now that I learn you can publish your own book WITHOUT a publisher through a nifty internet feature. What do you guys think???

Now the BIG question. Should we do it again?????

Gosh, I want to thank Dre and Devon so much for a wonderful weekend.  The weather was drop dead gorgeous.  The talks were very interesting.  I enjoyed the side discussions on Cossacks and Russians, of the myths of global warming and South Park, of Hinudism and Norse Gods.  The fellowship and drumming and dancing was exquisite.  When that old, beautiful moon sidled over the horizon, and the drummers moved to the periphery of the paddock, and the dancers danced in the field, it was a very special moment for me.  It was kind of magickal, to use an overused term.  It was good to meet Francesca and to renew friendships with so many people.  So thank you. And thank Epona. I hope this will become a  yearly occurance.

  Jack

The directions on the Witchvox are Drey's own directions. They should get you there. He's very good at not getting people lost! If, however, you DO get lost, please STOP on a hilltop to call us so your phone won't loose its signal. There are quite a few hills and valleys where we live and they can play havoc with cell phones!

We also have a "GUEST" horse who will be spending an indefinite amount of time with us to join in on the festivities. So the paddock gate MUST BE SHUT AT ALL TIMES! I'm turning horses out in shifts now so there's always somebody out. This is starting to feel like WORK!

Don't know about you guys but I'm getting pysched! This is gonna be fun!

         Right?

What time are you guys leaving?  I will probably try the directions on Witchvox. They seem pretty clear cut.   I'm thinking of going tomorrow evening after supper.   Will everyone be there by then?

That actually could work. What time are you leaving?
It also would give me the opportunity of meeting Joe.

Jack in the Green

Unfortunately not, Joe is permanentely in a nursing home now  :(  and his family is trying hard to get used to him not being there anymore.  Of course the refridgerator and the mower dying at the same time that they are haggling with medicare hasn't helped.

You all are supposed to have great weather (cool and sunny for this time of year!)

Enjoy, and sorry we can't make it.  ALthough we plan to take advantage of the weather and hit the yard work.  (Hard!) ;D

Directions, directions, directions for this misguided, absent-minded, chaotic Druid....
or are we going via caravan so I can follow someone?

Jack in the Green

You could follow us and Renee can ride with one of us.  We may be stopping in Freeland just at the PA border to drop off a lawnmower to Joe & Josephine's house.  We got one off freecycle and got it running.  They don't have a mower and their grass is now waist high.

If you trust internet directions, the address is in the Witchvox post: http://www.witchvox.com/vn/vn_detail/dt_ev.html?a=uspa&id=50046

If you don't, you can call the number and leave a message for a call back.

All attendees of Sacred Herd will be recieving a complimentary C/D filled with inspirational and humourous short stories on horses gleaned off of the internet. There will also be pics of the farm and the ponies included in this C/D.

    I'm getting excited about this!

There's no rain in the forecast or sticky humid weather predicted, right??
